Role:
Seeking an energetic entry-level event tech assistant to join a live production crew near Anaheim Hills. This is a hands-on position ideal for anyone eager to gain real-world experience in live event production, audio engineering, and videography. No prior professional experience is required—enthusiasm, reliability, and a solid work ethic are the main qualifications.
Position Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and transport live sound equipment and speakers weighing up to 35 lbs. Set up speaker stands, run audio cables, and position microphones cleanly. Operate small audio mixers during live events. Connect video equipment, including running
HDMI/SDI
lines from cameras to displays or monitors. Assist with basic lighting and stage equipment setup as needed.
Requirements:
Strong passion for live event production, sound engineering, or media production. High energy, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn on the job. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs repeatedly during load-in and load-out. Reliable personal transportation to event sites around Anaheim Hills and surrounding areas. Punctual, professional, and attentive to detail during live operations.
What You Will Learn:
Hands-on operation of analog and digital audio mixing consoles. Proper microphone placement and signal flow fundamentals. Live camera connections and basic video routing. Professional event setup, cable management, and real-time troubleshooting.
