Role:

The Live Production Technician plays a vital role in facilitating ministry experiences for campers and guests during Hume's live chapel gatherings and recreation events. This individual eliminates distractions for guests by ensuring a high-quality audio and visual experience during worship, speaker sessions, recreation, and live opener performances.

The Role:

Duties include setting up, engineering, and tearing down audio, visual, and lighting for chapels, recreation, and other events. Follow all safety procedures and directions provided by supervisors. Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a Christ-centered team environment. Represent Hume Christian Camps' values and mission through conduct, attitude, and service.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Must be a personal and adaptable self-motivator who can interface well with staff, speakers, and musicians. A love of learning and a heart to serve through creating intentional environments is valuable. Previous experience in AVL settings is desired. Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment to live in summer staff housing. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors or indoors as needed. Dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision. Must agree with and support Hume Christian Camps' Statement of Faith. Must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel through word and deed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of the job. Live and work in extreme weather conditions, at high altitude, and in small living quarters.
