Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$32 - $40 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience) About Gotuwired Since 2006, Gotuwired has delivered commercial audiovisual, security, and structured cabling solutions for businesses throughout Southern California. We're a

licensed integrator that works on everything from corporate boardrooms and huddle spaces to full-building network infrastructure. We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced AV technician who takes pride in clean installs, systems that work the first time, and clients who call us back. The Role As a Level III Pro AV Technician, you'll be one of our senior field experts. You'll install, program, commission, and troubleshoot commercial AV and video conferencing systems, and you'll help guide junior technicians on site. You should be comfortable owning a room from rough-in through handoff and representing Gotuwired professionally in front of clients and general contractors. What You'll Do Install, terminate, and commission commercial AV systems, including displays, projectors, audio DSPs, microphones, switchers, and control systems. Program and configure AV control and signal distribution systems, primarily Atlona, QSC, BIAMP, NEAT, Shure, and Extron, with Crestron as a plus. Deploy and configure video conferencing platforms and hardware, including Neat and Logitech room systems for Google Meets, Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms. Run, terminate, test, and label low-voltage cabling (Cat6/Cat6A, HDMI, HDBaseT, audio, and control wiring) to industry standards. Read and interpret AV drawings, signal flow diagrams, and rack elevations, and flag design issues before they become field problems. Build and dress equipment racks to a clean, serviceable standard. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues on new installs and service calls. Lead small crews, mentor Level I and II technicians, and coordinate with project managers and foremen. Complete accurate as-builts, closeout documentation, and client training at handoff. What You Bring 5+ years of hands-on commercial AV installation experience. Working knowledge of AV programming and system configuration (Atlona, QSC, BIAMP, and Shure, a must). Hands-on experience with Neat and Logitech video conferencing systems. Solid low-voltage cabling experience, including termination, testing, and certification. Understanding of AV-over-IP, basic networking (VLANs, IP addressing, PoE), and DSP setup. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field. Strong communication skills and a professional, client-facing attitude. Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders and lifts, and work in ceilings and tight spaces. Nice to Have Crestron programming or certification (CCP, DMC-E, or similar). Extron, Atlona, or Q-SYS certifications. AVIXA CTS or CTS-I certification. Experience with Google Meeting, Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms administration. Security or access control experience. Experience with Sound Masking, NEAT, and SHURE equipment. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience. [Paid time off and paid holidays]. [Company vehicle, fuel card, or mileage reimbursement]. [Tools, training, and certification support]. Varied, challenging commercial projects across Southern California. A team that values quality work and growth from within. To Apply Submit your resume through Indeed.
