Audio Visual Lead Technician Electronic Services & Concierge (ESC LLC) — Denver, CO

About the Role We're looking for an experienced Audio Visual Lead Technician to lead installation, configuration, and testing of home automation and AV systems on-site in Denver. You'll read and interpret system designs and wiring diagrams, pull and terminate low-voltage cabling, install and mount devices and equipment racks, and program/configure systems as needed. You'll also oversee project timelines, mentor junior technicians, coordinate with project managers and clients, and make sure every installation meets our quality and safety standards — plus handle troubleshooting, updates, maintenance, and documentation. What You'll Do Lead complex residential installs across Crestron, Control4, Savant, Lutron, and JoshAI platforms Read technical drawings/schematics; handle low-voltage wiring, cable management, rack building, and device mounting Troubleshoot AV and network issues; test systems and ensure stable, reliable installations Mentor and supervise on-site technicians; coordinate tasks with the team Communicate directly with project managers, designers, and clients Work with basic networking (IP addressing, routers, switches, Wi-Fi); AV-over-IP experience a plus Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced field environment Lift/move equipment, work on ladders, and follow job site safety standards What We're Looking For Strong hands-on experience with home automation/AV platforms and leading residential installs Skilled in low-voltage wiring, rack building, and reading technical schematics Proven troubleshooting ability for AV and network issues Experience mentoring or supervising technicians on-site Comfort with basic networking concepts Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects Physically able to lift equipment, use ladders, and follow safety protocols Certifications (CTS, manufacturer-specific, low-voltage license) a strong plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel around the Denver metro area Why Join ESC LLC Work on cutting-edge smart home technology, from everyday automation to high-end luxury builds, with a team that values craftsmanship and client experience.
