The Opportunity We are hiring Audio Visual (AV) Installation Technicians to join our Installation team. You will work alongside senior installers to deploy conference rooms, boardrooms, training spaces, and control rooms featuring Crestron, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex, Shure, Biamp, Extron, and Q-SYS equipment. certification. What You Will Do
Install audio, video, and control equipment in conference rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, and operations centers
Mount displays, projectors, cameras, microphones, speakers, and rack equipment to manufacturer and AVIXA standards
Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling including Cat6, fiber, HDMI, and Dante audio networks
Build and dress equipment racks, manage cable pathways, and follow clean workmanship practices
Assist engineers with system commissioning, testing, and end-user training
Travel to customer sites across Connecticut and the Northeast to complete installations
Represent VisionPoint with a professional appearance, strong work ethic, and customer-first mindset What We Are Looking For
Entry-level candidates welcome. AV industry experience is not required
Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts
Basic understanding of low-voltage wiring, networking, or electronics is a plus
Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, organized workmanship
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally work extended hours to meet project deadlines
Ability to lift 50 pounds, work on ladders and lifts, and perform physical installation tasks
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school graduates (including Lincoln Tech) strongly encouraged to apply Compensation and Benefits
