Job Description

Elite Technology LLC is a growing commercial technology integrator specializing in AV, access control, CCTV, networking, and structured cabling. We are looking for an experienced AV / Low Voltage Technician to join our team. While Elite Technology is a newer company, the experience and client relationships behind the business are not. Our company was built on nearly 20 years of industry experience and established customer relationships, and we are continuing to grow our project base and field team. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of that growth and is interested in an opportunity where their role and responsibilities can expand as the company grows. This is not an entry-level position. Depending on experience, this position can range from an experienced technician working as part of our field team to a Lead Technician capable of taking ownership of projects, directing other technicians, and working directly with clients and contractors. What You'll Be Working On Our projects include: Commercial AV systems Conference rooms and collaboration spaces Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms Access control and intercom systems CCTV and IP surveillance systems Network infrastructure and structured cabling Equipment racks and head-end systems System troubleshooting, service, and upgrades AV Experience Professional AV installation and troubleshooting experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with manufacturers and platforms such as Logitech, Neat, Crestron, Biamp, Shure, Q-SYS, Extron, Atlona, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Zoom Rooms is a plus. You do not need to know every manufacturer or platform we work with. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of professional AV systems who is comfortable learning new equipment and technologies. Access Control & Security Experience with access control, intercom, and CCTV systems is also highly valued, including card readers, access control panels, electric strikes, magnetic locks, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, intercom systems, IP cameras, and NVRs. Experience with PDK, Verkada, 2N, or similar platforms is a plus. Responsibilities Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot commercial AV and low-voltage systems Install displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, access control equipment, and related hardware Build and dress equipment racks Install and terminate Cat6 and other low-voltage cabling Read drawings, floor plans, and project documentation Troubleshoot systems in the field Maintain clean, professional installations and jobsites Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and other trades Lead Technician Candidates Candidates being considered at the Lead Technician level should be comfortable taking ownership of projects in the field, directing and working alongside other technicians, coordinating with clients and general contractors, resolving field issues without constant supervision, and keeping projects organized and moving. Qualifications Prior professional AV and/or low-voltage field experience required Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel directly to project sites throughout our service area Ability to safely use ladders and lifts and perform the physical requirements of field installation work Professional appearance and communication skills Compensation & Benefits $28.42-$42.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability.
