In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating a wide range of AV systems to ensure flawless performance during meetings, conferences, live events, and corporate presentations. Duties Install, configure, and calibrate audiovisual equipment including video conferencing systems, sound systems, control systems, and digital signal processing devices. Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues promptly to minimize downtime during live events or scheduled operations. Operate and manage AV equipment during meetings, conferences, and live event productions to ensure optimal audio and visual quality. Read electrical schematics and blueprints related to AV system installation and maintenance projects. Perform routine maintenance on AV hardware and software components to ensure longevity and reliable performance. Implement cabling solutions using hand tools while adhering to electrical codes and safety standards for low voltage systems. Collaborate with clients and team members to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored AV solutions that exceed expectations. Requirements Proven experience working in the AV industry with hands-on knowledge of AV system installation, operation, and troubleshooting. Strong electrical experience including reading electrical schematics, implementing audio systems, and understanding telecommunication wiring. Proficiency in control system programming for AV systems as well as digital signal processing techniques. Skilled in computer networking concepts essential for configuring video conferencing systems and networked AV equipment. Ability to troubleshoot software issues related to AV control systems, video conferencing platforms, and hardware components. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools for cabling, equipment setup, and mechanical adjustments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients. Knowledge of electrical schematic reading, low voltage wiring practices, and implementing telecommunication infrastructure. Experience managing live event AV production projects from setup through execution with attention to detail under tight deadlines.
