Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively to execute complex, project-based custom AV, networking, and security installations for residential and commercial clients. You will be responsible for overseeing daily task completion, ensuring precision craftsmanship, and maintaining project documentation. Key Responsibilities Perform complete installations, setup, and precision calibration of high-end audio/video systems, theater rooms, and integrated control systems (lighting, shading, and automation). Lead structured wiring projects, including new construction pre-wiring and retrofit cabling in existing structures. Execute rack building, cable management, and complete AV equipment package assembly to the highest industry standards. Conduct advanced troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and system maintenance on complex new systems, legacy setups, and third-party components. Maintain clear communication with clients and team members while representing the company professionally on job sites.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on field experience in low voltage custom integration.
Technical Skills:
Strong background in CEDIA-standard integration, networking, and AV systems. Experience with Savant systems is highly preferred.
Licensing:
Valid Washington and/or Oregon Low Voltage (06) or Journeyman Electrician (01/02) license strongly preferred.
Professional Attributes:
Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and proven ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Logistics:
Clean driving record and ability to pass a standard background check.
Tech Literacy:
Proficiency with mobile and desktop computing for system configuration and field reporting.
