\tTest Range Operations Job Description Entry level position. Under supervision, employee assists others, including more senior level technicians, setup, operate and monitor basic video capturing and recording equipment at test sites. Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, assembly, and repair of various cables / connectors. Assists in the setup and operation of television instrumentation equipment to record scientific data of test related projects. This includes single and multiple instrumentation setups. . Assists with the transfer of recorded information onto appropriate media as required. Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission. This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.\n

Qualifications Pay Rate:

$29.42

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.\n
Must have one of the following: 1 year related photography or television experience, or an associate's degree / Military training in related field.

Job Skills Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.\n
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.\n
Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.\n
Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the SOPs for Television.\n
Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted. Must be capable of kneeling and standing for long periods of time.\n
Must be tolerant of frequent weapon firings.

Job Requirements:

Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.\n
Must have dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication.\n
Must be able speak, write, read, and understand English.\n
Must have a well-mannered customer service attitude.\n
Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.\n

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

Basic skills in digital video and digital processing.\n
Working knowledge of electronics and computer systems.\n
Commercial Driver's License.
