A Loom.com video briefly introducing yourself, explaining why you'd be great for the role, and why you want this position specifically. About The Vibe Media We make YouTube content. Since launching in 2018, The Vibe Media has grown to six active channels with more than 200 million combined views. Our flagship content is our music, most notably featured on @healingvibrations and @sleepingvibrations. You can also see the range of our work on @makingitshow, @thatcreatorlife, and @TheVibeMedia. Although our channels cover different subjects and formats, they are all driven by the same goal: creating honest, authentic, and positive content that uplifts, informs, and helps people improve their lives. We are currently a team of six, and we are looking for a dependable new team member who wants to develop a long-term career in media production. The Role The Media Production Technician supports our producers by handling the detailed technical work that keeps our production and post-production workflows moving. Your primary responsibilities will include organizing media, preparing Adobe Premiere Pro projects, adapting existing edits for different platforms, queuing exports, and checking completed files for accuracy. This is initially a process-driven production support role rather than a creatively led editing position. Much of the work involves carefully following established templates, specifications, and standard operating procedures. The right person will find satisfaction in completing detailed, repetitive tasks accurately and consistently. As you demonstrate reliability and technical proficiency, there may be opportunities to take on more advanced responsibilities involving camera operation, audio, color correction, Photoshop, and editing. Growth will be based on performance, business needs, and your ability to master the foundational workflows of the position. Core Responsibilities
  • Ingest, transfer, organize, label, and manage video, audio, and image files.
  • Prepare Adobe Premiere Pro projects using established templates and workflows.
  • Create and organize sequences according to producer instructions.
  • Duplicate and adapt completed edits for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Queue, monitor, and manage exports.
  • Review exported content for technical errors, missing media, incorrect formatting, and other quality-control issues.
  • Maintain consistent folder structures, file names, project versions, and media backups.
  • Provide occasional support with camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Assist producers and crew members during studio and on-location shoots.
  • Complete basic Photoshop and image-preparation tasks.
  • Assemble short-form content from existing edits, templates, or producer instructions.
  • Complete other production-support tasks as needed. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience operating mirrorless or cinema cameras.
  • Familiarity with microphones, audio recorders, lighting, and basic studio equipment.
  • Experience with audio editing, mixing, or recording.
  • Photography and photo editing experience.
  • Familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and vertical-video specifications.
  • Experience using task-management software such as ClickUp, Jira, Monday.com, Asana, or Trello.
  • Experience working from templates, checklists, or documented production workflows.
  • A good sense of humor and a collaborative attitude. This Role May Not Be a Fit If
  • You are primarily seeking immediate creative control over edits or content decisions.
  • You dislike repetitive, detail-oriented, or process-driven work.
  • You prefer freelance projects or short-term employment.
  • You are not particularly interested in YouTube.
  • You have difficulty following exact technical specifications or established workflows.
Why Join The Vibe Media ? You will join a small, established team whose content reaches millions of people. You will gain hands-on experience across several types of productions while learning the systems behind a growing digital media company. This position offers a clear opportunity to build technical skills and earn greater responsibility by becoming someone the production team can consistently rely on.
