The Pensacola Ice Flyers are looking for responsible, enthusiastic people to work alongside Game Operations staff on game-day duties and to give fans an efficient, positive experience during the 2026-27 season. Game Day Staff build real-world, resume-ready skills in event marketing, management, fundraising, and live production. Game Day Operations positions run from October 17 through the end of the season. Game Day Staff are paid per game and per event. Parking Specialist Parking Specialists sell parking, check prepaid parking passes as vehicles enter the lot, and direct vehicles to the right location and space during inbound traffic at all Ice Flyers events. Team members must handle the handheld card devices they're issued with care. Guest Experience Representative Guest Experience Representatives work with guests at Ice Flyers events to deliver the best possible customer service. They answer questions, take ownership of customer service issues and see them through, collect and log fan experience data, and keep a working knowledge of Ice Flyers operations and procedures so they can help with general questions. Raffle Sales Associate Raffle Sales Associates promote and sell 50/50 jackpot and raffle tickets to fans 18 and older at Ice Flyers home games. They set up, manage, and clean up raffle kiosks, talk with fans before and during the game about every in-game raffle opportunity, and handle the handheld card devices they're issued with care. Broadcast Director The Broadcast Director leads live camera production for the video board at home games. The Director calls camera shots over headset that follow the action and capture key moments, communicates with camera operators and the production crew, and follows the game-day rundown to coordinate coverage during promotions, breaks, and other scheduled moments. The Director works closely with the Camera Switcher Operator, Replay Operator, and DJ, and helps with pregame setup and equipment checks. Experience directing live video production is preferred, and hockey knowledge is a strong plus. Camera Switcher Operator The Camera Switcher Operator runs the camera switcher during games and carries out the Broadcast Director's shot calls quickly and cleanly. Responsibilities include taking camera shots and transitions on cue, staying locked in on headset communication, following the game-day rundown, and helping with pregame setup and equipment checks. Switcher experience is preferred, but training may be available for the right candidate. Replay Operator The Replay Operator works with the Broadcast Director and production team during video board production, using the 3Play system to build replay packages that tell the story of the game and show multiple camera angles of key plays when prompted. DJ The DJ sets the energy in the building from warmups to the final horn. Responsibilities include picking and playing music during warmups, stoppages, intermissions, and promotions, reading the crowd, hitting cues from the game-day script, and working closely with the Broadcast Director and production team. All music must be clean edits. We're building a DJ rotation, so both primary and backup DJs are encouraged to apply. Live event or sports DJ experience is preferred. Camera Operator Camera Operators run video cameras at Ice Flyers home games to capture live footage for the video board. They take direction from the production team over headset, understand hockey well enough to anticipate the action, and must be able to stand for long periods. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down equipment, holding steady shots throughout the game, and quickly adjusting focus and framing as production needs change.
