Reporting to the Director of Donor Engagement and Recognition, the Stewardship Associate, Communication and Reporting serves as a key partner in the development and execution of stewardship reporting and donor impact communications across University Advancement. This role collaborates closely with University Advancement Communications ( UAC ), frontline fundraisers, and campus partners to coordinate, develop, and deliver a comprehensive stewardship reporting program that strengthens donor relationships through meaningful, timely, and personalized communications. The Stewardship Associate, Communication and Reporting , follows workflows, supports content collection and editing, develops reporting templates and tools, and ensures the consistent delivery of donor-centered reports and acknowledgments. This position works directly on the creative content and story creation of high-quality annual donor reports, including but not limited to scholarship reports, custom donor reports, impact statements, endowment reports, fund narratives, and other stewardship communications that demonstrate the impact of philanthropic support. The Stewardship Associate, Communication and Reporting leverages technology and reporting platforms to streamline stewardship processes, improve efficiency, and support customized donor reporting initiatives that align with institutional fundraising and engagement strategies. Duties and Responsibilities:

Stewardship Reporting and Donor Communications Partner with the Director, UAC , frontline fundraisers, and University stakeholders to coordinate and produce compelling stewardship reports and donor impact communications. Support the editing of endowment narratives, student and donor stories, gratitude statements, and other reporting content necessary for the creation of personalized donor reports. Support development of reporting templates, timelines, and project plans to ensure the timely delivery of endowment reports, scholarship reports, impact statements, fund activation reports, custom stewardship reports, and donor acknowledgments. Serve as a resource to University Advancement staff on stewardship reporting best practices and opportunities for enhanced donor engagement. Digital Stewardship and Reporting Systems Manage digital stewardship outreach through ODDER , FundMiner, AirTable and other reporting platforms in support of donor engagement objectives. Collaborate with University partners and Advancement colleagues to gather content and develop scalable processes for customized donor reporting. Maintain standardized, visually engaging digital report templates and workflows that promote efficiency, consistency, and adherence to stewardship standards. Identify opportunities to enhance donor experiences through digital acknowledgment and reporting strategies. Stewardship Program Development and Collaboration Collaborate with the Director to strengthen and expand stewardship reporting initiatives for principal, major, and leadership-level donors. Partner with University Advancement colleagues to develop tracking and storage mechanisms that support transparent documentation, access and management of stewardship deliverables. Contribute to the development of stewardship policies, reporting standards, metrics, and process improvements that enhance donor engagement and retention efforts. Donor Acknowledgment Communications Collaborate with the Director, UAC and Advancement leadership to develop and maintain acknowledgment templates and communication materials. Draft and coordinate customized stewardship correspondence and acknowledgments on behalf of the Vice President for University Advancement, Advancement leadership, and University leadership as needed. Additional Duties Perform other responsibilities and assist with special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. 2-4 years of similar or related experience required. Knowledge of advancement practices, stewardship strategies, and donor communications. Experience creating reports and acknowledgments, synthesizing diverse information, and understanding giving data for individuals, corporations and foundations. Exceptional writing and editing abilities; strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities; excellent time management; commitment to high‑quality customer service; comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree preferred. Experience with CRMs such as Salesforce and relational databases. Familiarity with Blackbaud Award Management, Banner, Cognos, and FundMiner preferred. Physical Requirements and/or

Salary Posting Information:

This position falls within salaried grade 12 and the range is $56,000-62,200. The final salary will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's qualifications, department budget availability, market data, and internal equity.
