Design - Superior Cloth & Stitch (SCS) Are you a highly organized product development professional who thrives on turning concepts into market-ready apparel? We're looking for an organized, collaborative Product Apparel Developer to own the product development process from concept through commercialization, serving as the central point of coordination between Design, Material Development, Technical Design, Sourcing, and vendors. This is an exciting opportunity to bridge Design, Materials, and Technical Design at Superior Cloth & Stitch (SCS) — keeping projects on schedule, ensuring quality standards are met, and helping bring innovative apparel products to market. What You'll Do Coordinate development activities between Design, Material Development, Technical Design, Sourcing, and vendors Manage sample requests, sample tracking, approvals, and vendor follow-up Maintain accurate product information and development milestones within the PLM system Partner with the Material Developer Lead to coordinate fabric, trim, color, and material approvals Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Sourcing to ensure products are developed on time and meet brand expectations Support Technical Design during fittings and product development as needed Support Design with presentation materials and product documentation as needed Assist with commercialization and production readiness Collaborate with Technical Design to ensure product quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved Who You Are Organized — you keep multiple development timelines, samples, and approvals on track without missing a beat Collaborative — you build strong working relationships across Design, Materials, Technical Design, Sourcing, and vendors Detail-oriented — you catch discrepancies in specs, samples, and product information before they become bigger problems A clear communicator — you keep cross-functional teams and vendors aligned and informed throughout the development process Passionate about product — you care about bringing innovative, well-made apparel to market What You Bring Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Product Development, Apparel Design, Merchandising, Textiles, or related field 3-5 years of experience in Product Development, Technical Design, Apparel Design, Merchandising, or a related apparel product creation role Strong understanding of apparel construction, fabrics, materials, fit, and manufacturing Experience with PLM systems Experience with fabric development is a plus Experience in CLO 3D is a plus Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience working with overseas factories and vendors Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency Microsoft Office proficiency Tools You'll Use PLM systems CLO 3D Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Microsoft Office Suite AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) Why Join Us Play a central role connecting Design, Materials, and Technical Design, with visible impact on how efficiently products move from concept to market Partner directly with Design leadership to help shape a more collaborative, scalable product development process Join an established, growing apparel business with strong brand partners
