Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated, part-time Floral Designer to join our busy floral shop located in the heart of downtown Danville! The ideal candidate has a passion for nature and design with excellent customer service and selling skills. You will spend the majority of your time working in our shop, fulfilling orders, and ensuring the best customer experience possible. You will help on-site with events and weddings during our wedding season (March - October).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome and engage with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service Design beautiful and inspiring arrangements with quality, color, texture, and ingredients in mind Receive, organize and stock all inventory on the floor, the refrigerated cases, back stock and receiving areas Process flowers when deliveries are made Deliver flowers to local residents Prepare and organize for events and weddings during wedding season. Assist on-site for events and weddings when needed. Maintain a tidy shop and mise-en-place on the design bar at all times

REQUIREMENTS

Atleast 3 years experience working for an established flower shop or freelancing Eye for quality and design Extreme attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic math proficiency Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks Flexible availability, including Thursday afternoons and Weekends Valid Driver's License & clean driving record for deliveries Ability to lift up to 50lbs Compensation $18.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE Please do not call us or show up at the shop, we will contact you for an interview if your application is a fit.
