As a valued team member, you'll help elevate our floral offerings, provide exceptional customer service, and support daily shop operations. Responsibilities Design and create fresh floral arrangements tailored to customer specifications for everyday orders, events, sympathy, weddings, and special occasions. Prepare, process, and care for fresh flowers and greenery while maintaining knowledge of seasonal availability and floral trends. Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, stocking floral products, and merchandising displays. Provide outstanding customer service by understanding customer needs and offering professional floral recommendations. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, process transactions accurately, and assist customers with purchases. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including floral preparation areas, coolers, display cases, and retail floor. Collaborate with team members to complete orders accurately and on schedule. Assist with delivering floral arrangements to customers, event venues, hospitals, funeral homes, businesses, and residences as needed. Load, transport, and unload floral arrangements carefully to ensure products arrive in excellent condition. Support online and e-commerce order fulfillment, including order preparation, packaging, and quality control. Perform other duties as assigned to support daily business operations. Qualifications Previous experience in floral design, gardening, horticulture, or retail is preferred but not required. We welcome motivated individuals who are eager to learn. Knowledge of floral design techniques, color theory, and arrangement styles is a plus. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Organizational skills for inventory management and maintaining attractive retail displays. Experience with POS systems and basic computer skills preferred. Experience with e-commerce or online order fulfillment is a plus. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move up to 30 pounds , and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements associated with floral design. Ability to work in refrigerated floral coolers and varying indoor temperatures. Delivery Requirements Valid California Driver License with a clean driving record preferred for employees assisting with deliveries. Ability to safely operate company or personal vehicles (as applicable) while following all traffic laws and company safety procedures. Ability to use GPS navigation and deliver orders accurately and professionally. Schedule Part-Time / As Needed Weekend and holiday availability is preferred.
