Job Summary Our family owned floral business is seeking a talented and passionate freelance wedding florist. This flexible role offers the opportunity to showcase your floral artistry while working independently or alongside other florists on a variety of wedding projects, from bouquets to elaborate centerpieces. Duties Design/assemble a wide range of wedding floral arrangements, including bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, arches, and table centerpieces according to various styles Work quickly and efficiently; follow floral recipies Communicate effectively with floral business owner Qualifications 2+ years experience in floral design is a must Proven professional experience in floral design, especially for weddings or special events Strong understanding of floral mechanics, color theory, and design composition Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods -Valid driver's license required Creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Strong knowledge of floral types and techniques Skilled in floral arrangement techniques and various creative designs and styles This is a contract position, with hours varying week to week, month to month; seasonal.
