• Job Summary Tilbury Floral Design is seeking to fill multiple part-time Event Strike Assistant positions assisting the Event Manager and team with break down after a special event has ended.

The work is performed on specific Saturdays or Sundays (very rarely on Fridays), where there is an event scheduled in the Northern Virginia, DC, or Maryland areas at venues such as the DAR Constitution Hall, Congressional Country Club, Larz Anderson House mansion, and other exclusive venues. You will not be required to work all events , but once you agree to work on a certain day, you must fulfill the commitment. Event Strike Assistant Duties In this position, you may be required to perform the following duties: Assist the team in collecting all items belonging to Tilbury Floral Design for packing Pack items up for transportation back to the design studio Empty vases and/or candle holders Load vehicles so all items can be transported back to the design studio Unload items from the vehicle into the studio space Lead Strike Specialist - Pay is $200 per event for Lead. As a Lead Strike Specialist, you will perform the same duties as the Assistant however you will be responsible for leading the event breakdown, providing oversight and direction to team members, and dropping off all items to the studio.

• Previous event stike experience is required for the Lead position and experience with floral design or rental company is preferred but not required
• Requirements and Qualifications The work is physically demanding, so we are looking for self-motivated individuals who: Are organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Have great time management skills Have a positive disposition and work well in a group environment Can problem solve Have at least a high-school degree Are proficient in the english language Have a valid driver's license and their own form of transportation Are 18 years or older Available to work in the U.

S. Are able to lift at least 25 lbs Must be able to work quickly and follow directions Hours and Salary The work is usually performed on a Saturday and only rarely on Fridays or Sundays. The hours of work may range from 1 - 3 hours between 9:00pm - 1:00am and the pay is $75 per event you work.
