Appleblossoms Flowers, Gifts & More is looking for an enthusiastic sales professional with 5+ years floral design experience who understands that working in a successful flower shop is about much more than creating beautiful arrangements. We are a busy, customer-focused flower and gift shop, and we're looking for an individual who is creative, outgoing, dependable, and eager to be part of a team. This is not a design-only position. Every member of our team designs, sells, serves customers, enters orders, and helps keep the shop running smoothly. We can teach our systems and procedures, but we cannot teach initiative, common sense, and a genuine desire to help customers. Those qualities are essential for success in this role. What You'll Do Create beautiful everyday florals, sympathy/funeral design work, and special occasion floral designs. Assist customers in person and over the phone. Enter orders accurately into our computer system. Be able to navigate our delivery routing system. Recommend flowers, plants, and gift items to customers. Process and care for fresh flowers and plants. Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shop. Jump in wherever needed during busy periods and holidays. What We're Looking For Floral designer with at least 5 years of experience. (REQUIRED) Sales Professional who is experienced and enthusiastic about selling to our customers. Employed at a brick-and-mortar flower shop within the past 3 years. (REQUIRED) Strong communication and customer service skills. 100% Computer literate (REQUIRED) Be customer-focused and service their needs. Experience with flower order software systems or similar experience is a plus. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Quick learner who retains information and follows procedures. Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team. Retail sales experience is a plus. This Position IS For Someone Who Loves flowers and people equally. Enjoys staying busy and solving problems. Takes initiative and notices what needs to be done. Is comfortable switching between design work, customer service, sales, and shop operations throughout the day. Wants to be an important part of a growing local business. This Position Is NOT For Someone Who Only wants to design flowers. Prefers working independently rather than interacting with customers. Struggles with basic computer tasks or learning new procedures. Waits to be told what needs to be done. Pay:
