Full Time Floral Designer

Job Description

About the Role We're a multi-brand luxury event and hospitality company looking for a mid-level Floral Designer to join our team. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role — not a lead or creative director position — for someone who wants ownership over recurring floral work, large scope planting programs, and seasonal installations. You'll be the person who makes sure flowers, plantings, events and displays happen on schedule, every time, and who takes point on logistics during our busiest season of the year. Duties Weekly flowers — design, prep, and delivery for recurring client accounts Events & weddings — design, prep, oversee, and execute floral work for small to large-size events and weddings Plantings — manage and execute plantings for our commercial property partnership, a growing program with real volume and consistent turnaround expectations Holiday decoration season — plan and execute seasonal installations, and oversee on-site logistics for holiday installs from setup through takedown Warehouse operations — oversee warehouse activities including rentals, pulling and restocking, and manage inventory and supplies Event Logistics - plan and schedule Quality & consistency — maintain design standards across recurring accounts as volume scales What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of professional floral design experience — this is a mid-level role, we're not looking for lead or creative director-level applicants Portfolio required, with a design aesthetic that aligns with luxury, elevated floral and event design (please don't apply without a portfolio) Comfortable managing recurring work, not just one-off events Strong organizational and critical thinking skills — you'll be coordinating install logistics and timelines, not just designing Able to work independently and take ownership of various service lines end-to-end Valid driver's license [bonus if comfortable driving a small to medium size box truck] Available for extended hours during holiday installation season (typically mid Nov-Mid Dec) Requirements Excellent organization and communication skills Must be able to work weekends Must be able to occasionally work evenings Have and can use own transportation for small deliveries Proficiency in computer skills, intermediate to advanced knowledge and skill in Excel, Word, and Canva Position begins with a 14-day evaluation period at $18/hour, 20 hours per week, as a 1099 Contractor. Candidates who move forward enter a 90-day evaluation period at 40 hours per week, paid $20-$22/hour as a 1099 Contractor. Upon successful completion of the 90-day period, the hourly rate increases to $23-$26/hour, as a W2 Employee.
