Clair Shores, MI Conner Park Florist, a family-owned shop serving Metro Detroit since 1946, is seeking a creative and dependable floral designer. Full-time and part-time positions are available. We create custom, distinctive arrangements—not cookie-cutter designs. Prior floral design experience is preferred but not required. We will train candidates with natural design ability, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn our style and standards.

Responsibilities:

Design arrangements for everyday occasions, sympathy, weddings and events Create original designs at various price points Select flowers, colors and textures for each order Follow customer requests while applying creative judgment Process, condition and care for fresh flowers Adapt designs and make substitutions based on flower availability Keep work areas clean and organized Assist customers and team members Work efficiently while maintaining quality during busy periods

Qualifications:

Strong sense of color, balance, proportion and style Creative, detail-oriented and receptive to feedback Comfortable learning new techniques and styles Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Dependable, positive and team-oriented Willing to follow instruction and adapt to our design standards Floral design experience is a plus, but not required Weekend availability and increased hours around major floral holidays

Position:

Full-time or part-time.

Schedule:

To be discussed; occasional weekends and holiday availability required.
