Duties Design and assemble a variety of floral arrangements for retail sales, events, and special occasions, ensuring each piece meets high aesthetic standards Assist customers by offering expert advice on floral choices, care instructions, and complementary products to enhance their purchase experience Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers through proper handling, watering, and storage techniques Manage inventory by stocking flowers, tools, and decorative accessories efficiently while monitoring stock levels for replenishment Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for customer transactions, including cash handling and processing payments Support merchandising efforts by creating attractive displays that highlight seasonal themes and promotional items Collaborate with team members to ensure the shop remains organized, clean, and inviting at all times Skills Proven experience in floral design for at least 3 years or more Strong knowledge of floral care techniques Excellent communication skills and strong customer service skills Ability to operate POS systems confidently and handle cash transactions responsibly Exceptional organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain tidy workspaces Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to engage positively with clients of all backgrounds Familiarity with retail math for accurate pricing, sales tracking, and inventory management Knowledge of merchandising strategies to create eye-catching displays that drive sales Embark on a rewarding journey where your creativity blossoms!
