The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, horticulture, and customer service. This role involves creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions while providing exceptional service to our customers. Designer will also assist with retail sales, merchandising, and maintaining the overall aesthetic and presentation of the shop. A keen eye for detail, strong design skills and a love for flowers are a must. Please note this is NOT an office / desk position. This is NOT a receptionist / front counter position. You must have a strong background in floral design. This should include retail design, sympathy tributes, wedding and event decor. Only serious inquires will receive a response. Duties Design and create floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday occasions. Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients in selecting floral products that meet their needs. Maintain knowledge of current trends in floral design and horticulture. Manage inventory levels of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality. Operate POS systems for processing sales transactions accurately. Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising displays to enhance the shopping experience. Handle cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organized workspace. Requirements Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively in English Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in retail math and cash handling procedures. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A passion for creativity and an eye for aesthetics in floral arrangements.
