Floral Designer (Part-Time) Blooms On Point | Point Pleasant, NJ About the Role Blooms On Point is seeking an experienced Floral Designer to join our growing team on a part-time basis . We are looking for someone who can work independently, create beautiful floral designs efficiently, and contribute to our commitment to exceptional quality and customer service. Additional hours are available during holidays, wedding season, and other peak periods. Responsibilities Design floral arrangements independently in a fast-paced retail floral shop.

Create floral arrangements for:

Everyday deliveries Sympathy and funeral work Weddings and events Proms and homecoming Holiday designs Wreaths and seasonal arrangements Custom floral requests Process and properly care for fresh flowers. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Assist with flower ordering and inventory management as needed. Participate in customer consultations as needed. Adapt designs to reflect Blooms On Point's signature style while incorporating creativity and attention to detail. Work collaboratively with the team while remaining comfortable working independently. Qualifications Prior professional floral design experience required. Ability to design independently without step-by-step instruction. Strong knowledge of fresh flowers, floral mechanics, color theory, and design techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service and communication skills. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Positive attitude with a willingness to receive feedback. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting buckets of flowers and supplies as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Schedule Part-time position averaging 8-16 hours per week. Must be available to work additional hours during our busiest seasons, including Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, prom season, and wedding season.
