Learn more about this role on our website: https://www.indicolourcreations.com/part-time-event-setup-crew-member Key ResponsibilitiesSetup & Installation Assist with on-site setup of event decor including floral arrangements, backdrops, arches, and ceremonial elements Handle and arrange delicate materials such as fresh flowers, fabrics, and decorative props Follow detailed setup plans and design specifications to ensure accurate installation Set up tables, seating arrangements, and ceremonial spaces according to cultural requirements Material Handling Load, transport, and unload event materials and equipment safely Organize and inventory decor items before and after events Maintain proper care of floral arrangements and perishable decorative elements Pack and return rental items and company equipment Quality Control Ensure all decor elements are properly secured and positioned Make minor adjustments to arrangements to match design vision Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces during setup Conduct final walk-through to ensure setup meets quality standards Breakdown & Cleanup Efficiently dismantle event setups while preserving reusable materials Clean event spaces and return them to original condition Properly store and transport company equipment back to storage facility Qualifications Required Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation to travel to various event locations throughout the area Flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and some holidays Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions Professional demeanor when working in client spaces and around guests Preferred Previous experience in event setup, floral arrangement, or hospitality Familiarity with South Asian cultural traditions and ceremonial requirements Basic knowledge of floral care and handling Experience with backdrop installation or decorative setup work What We Offer Flexible part-time scheduling Opportunity to work on beautiful, culturally rich celebrations Training in specialized event decor techniques Supportive team environment focused on creating meaningful experiences Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors and in various venue conditions Comfortable working with ladders and basic installation tools Manual dexterity for handling delicate floral and decorative materials Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Schedule Part-time position with variable hours based on event calendar.
