Job Description

1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. is looking for a Seasonal Floral Designer for their Philadelphia MDC.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Help maintain plants and dish gardens. Keep cooler clean and organized. Handle and process flowers as delivered to the facility. Fulfill Floral design recipes as ordered. Meet all company productivity and quality standards. Assist in other areas as necessary.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of floral designer experience. Bi-lingual, a plus. Design experience is a must. Must have good attention to detail. Knowledge of design principles and techniques, as well as current trends in floral design. Ability to work extra hours and weekends as necessary. Ability to lift up to 25lbs, stand for long periods, and traverse stairs throughout the day and work in an overall physically demanding manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The expected salary range for this position is $17.00 hourly . Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
