POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining packaging and product artwork to support the manufacturing requirements of all products within the Surgical business Ensures artwork complies with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and client design specifications while promoting consistency and standardization across labeling and packaging processes This role also supports the development, execution, and documentation of labeling and software validation protocols, verifies artwork accuracy through the approval process, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality labeling solutions throughout the product lifecycle. The role was expanded to seek candidates with experience in:
Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications.
Monitoring application performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing updates.
Participating in software design and code reviews.
Creating and maintaining documentation in accordance with medical device quality and regulatory requirements.
Developing, executing, and documenting software and labeling validation protocols.
Preparing validation test reports and maintaining validation records.
Knowledge of medical device quality systems, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirement:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Creates, reviews, and reproduces content required for labeling medical products using professional graphic design software (Proficient in using both MAC and PC Operating Systems)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
Proficient with design software, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office
Ability to work with department peers and middle-management within the marketing, engineering, and manufacturing functional groups
EDUCATION
Four-year college degree preferred or related experience.
EXPERIENCE/NICE TO HAVE
Significant previous experience in graphic design production.
Experience in the development of labeling for the medical device industry preferred.
Experience working in labeling systems (Priysm, Loftware/Spectrum)
Working knowledge of Labeling Software (e.g Loftware Spectrum, NiceLabel, EnLabel, Prisym)
Working knowledge of SAP
Skills with Adobe CS3 (or later) publishing suite of software
Ability to use computers and other graphic-arts related technology
Ability to manage structured content (such as
HTML, XML
