Description Job Overview The Senior Graphic Designer leads in supporting various communications initiatives on behalf of Wind Creek Hospitality and its properties, property amenities and promotional campaigns. The Senior Graphic Designer creates highly effective visual design for both print and web, while coordinating with Creative Services, Strategic Marketing, Customer Engagement, Media Planning, Property Marketing, agency partners and internal stakeholders to ensure graphic design solutions across all media channels are of the highest quality while effectively communicating the desired message. This position will report to the Graphic Design Manager. Duties And Responsibilities Creates compelling concepts and final art for all marketing channels with a keen understanding of strategic marketing objectives to deliver the appropriate message to the target audience, regardless of media channel Supervises graphic designers as needed Reads and accurately analyzes design briefs Meets directly with clients and appropriate stakeholder as needed to obtain information and resources required to complete projects in a timely manner Understands and maintains corporate brand and graphic standards Conceptualizes and implements visual design solutions for all print media, broadcast, out-of-home and digital Supervises special projects as needed Participates in brainstorming sessions as an experienced and skilled contributor, and leads teams as required Stays abreast of current trends and tools; Advocates for new techniques and design style trends Works both independently and collaboratively, handling projects from concept to completion with minimal assistance Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying) Associate's Degree in Related field
  • required Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment OR Two (2) years' Supervisory experience
  • required OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a PCI Gaming Department
  • required OR Two (2) years' experience in the hiring position's Department
  • required Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field
  • required Five (5) years professional graphic design experience employed full time by an ad agency or in-house design department, preferably supporting multiple internal or external clients in a high-traffic design environment
  • required Competency with current industry standard graphics software, that must include Adobe's Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat, plus Microsoft Office, basic knowledge of various web design software, and social media platforms Experienced with producing corporate marketing materials, branding and identity, typography, layout, composition, color theory, and information design (Gaming experience a plus) Proven ability to synthesize direction from many individuals Ability to learn quickly Experience with supervising, training and mentorship Strong interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage own time, take initiative and handle stress Team player with the ability to thrive in a fluid and deadline-driven environment High level of creativity and ability to visually communicate as evidenced by a rich portfolio of work examples Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
