Graphic Designer & Shopify Ecommerce Specialist American Blanket Company American Blanket Company is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer with strong Shopify experience to help guide the visual presentation and ongoing development of our ecommerce website. This role combines graphic design, Shopify merchandising, user experience, product photography, and video content creation. The ideal candidate understands how strong design, clear navigation, compelling product imagery, and thoughtful website presentation work together to improve customer experience and increase online sales. Key Responsibilities Create, update, and improve Shopify homepage, product, collection, landing, and blog pages Design homepage banners, promotional graphics, email creative, social media assets, and digital advertisements Apply Shopify ecommerce and UX best practices to improve navigation, product discovery, mobile usability, and conversion Maintain a consistent visual identity across the website, email marketing, social media, and other digital channels Prepare, edit, resize, retouch, and optimize product and lifestyle images for web use Photograph blankets, bedding, towels, pillows, and related products in studio and lifestyle settings Create and edit short-form product videos for website, email, social media, and advertising Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, promotions, and website merchandising Improve product-page layouts, image sequencing, comparison content, product benefits, and trust-building elements Ensure designs perform well across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices Optimize image files and creative assets to maintain strong website speed and performance Work with leadership to develop new ideas for ecommerce growth and visual brand direction Review website analytics and customer behavior to recommend design and UX improvements Coordinate with outside developers, photographers, marketers, and other vendors when needed Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience working within the Shopify platform Strong understanding of Shopify themes, sections, product pages, collections, navigation, and content management Knowledge of ecommerce UX, mobile-first design, conversion best practices, and customer journey principles Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including: Image resizing and cropping Color correction Background removal Product retouching Image compositing Layer and mask management Preparing optimized files for web and print Strong graphic-design ability with a clean, premium visual style Experience with product and lifestyle photography Experience filming and editing short-form video content Ability to design for multiple formats, including Shopify, email, social media, and digital advertising Strong attention to detail, organization, and visual consistency Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Portfolio demonstrating relevant ecommerce, graphic-design, photography, and video work Application Requirements Please submit: Resume Portfolio of relevant Shopify, graphic-design, photography, and video work Examples of ecommerce websites or Shopify stores you have worked on A brief description of your specific responsibilities on each project
