We're looking for someone who genuinely loves design, has a strong creative eye, and gets excited about turning ideas into eye-catching, shelf-worthy products. This is a hands-on creative role working across candy packaging, branding, marketing materials, and product photography. The ideal candidate is naturally curious about design, stays on top of market and design trends, and enjoys researching products, competitors, and the retail landscape to help inspire new ideas. Duties Develop creative concepts and designs for candy packaging, labels, catalogs, displays, marketing materials, and promotional pieces Take projects from initial concept through final production Conduct product and market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, competitive products, colors, flavors, packaging styles, and design opportunities Bring fresh, trend-forward ideas to new product development and existing product lines Create designs that are visually appealing, on-brand, and effective in a retail environment Collaborate with the creative, sales, and production teams on new and existing products Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork and work within production specifications Help develop creative concepts for new, seasonal, and custom candy products Assist with product photography and creating visual content when needed Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail Ability to work within established brand style guides and maintain consistent branding and visual standards across multiple products and product lines. Experience 2-3 years of professional graphic design experience Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic Design required A genuine passion for design and a strong understanding of what makes a design visually successful An excellent design eye with a strong sense of typography, color, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign Strong interest in market research, product research, and design trends Ability to recognize emerging trends and translate them into relevant, marketable design concepts Creative thinker who is constantly looking for inspiration and new ideas Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work Ability to take direction while also being confident enough to contribute your own creative ideas Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Packaging design experience preferred Photography experience is a plus, particularly product photography Experience preparing files for print and working with printers or production teams is a plus Must be available to work full-time in our office; this is an in-office position Portfolio Required A professional design portfolio is required for consideration. We're looking for a portfolio that demonstrates strong design fundamentals, creativity, and a great visual eye. Packaging, branding, print, product, or retail design experience is highly desirable.
