Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Packaging Production Designer to support the development, maintenance, and execution of packaging graphics across our product portfolio. This role is responsible for creating, updating, and preparing production-ready packaging artwork that aligns with company branding, product requirements, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design skills with exceptional attention to detail and experience managing packaging artwork in a fast-paced environment. This individual will work closely with Marketing and Product Management to ensure packaging materials are visually consistent, accurate, and ready for production. This role is primarily focused on packaging graphics for distributor and customer-focused product programs rather than consumer retail packaging. Key Responsibilities Design, update, and maintain packaging graphics for product cartons, labels, inserts, and related packaging materials. Prepare and revise production-ready artwork files while ensuring compliance with brand standards and packaging specifications. Incorporate product information, technical data, regulatory content, barcodes, and customer-specific requirements into packaging designs. Manage packaging updates related to branding changes, product enhancements, line extensions, and customer requirements. Ensure packaging artwork remains consistent across product families and private label programs. Review and proof artwork for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before release to vendors and suppliers. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to packaging quality, efficiency, and brand presentation. Required Qualifications Associate's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent formal graphic design training. 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience with a focus on packaging artwork, print production, or production design. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including: Adobe Illustrator Adobe InDesign Adobe Photoshop Strong understanding of print production processes, file preparation, color management, and quality control. Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing packaging graphics for distributor, industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or private-label product programs. Experience supporting products sold through distributor channels and customer-specific packaging initiatives. Familiarity with managing large product portfolios involving frequent packaging revisions, SKU updates, and version control. Experience incorporating technical product information, specifications, regulatory content, and customer requirements into packaging artwork.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
