Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Design Engineer to join an innovative and fast-growing product development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing products from concept through production, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product management. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and driving products from initial design through successful launch. Key Responsibilities Lead product design and development activities throughout the full product lifecycle. Create innovative design solutions that meet customer, business, and manufacturing requirements. Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings. Perform design analysis, tolerance stack-ups, and product validation testing. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA). Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design-related issues. Support prototype development, testing, and product launch activities. Work closely with suppliers and external partners on component development and qualification. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the design team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance, cost, quality, and reliability. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of product design and development experience. Strong experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, or Inventor. Proven track record of leading products from concept through production. Experience with DFM, DFA, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering validation. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in consumer products, industrial products, medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or technology products. Knowledge of FEA, CFD, or simulation tools. Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment. Familiarity with agile product development methodologies.
