We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming clients' kitchen spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. You will work closely with interior designers, contractors, architects, and individual home owners to develop the spaces that matter most to families. Customer service for the correct candidate should come natural. You will need to understand client needs and design intent, provide expert design solutions, and manage the entire design process from concept to completion. Your ability to communicate effectively and negotiate will be key in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales. This is a commission only position with projects ready for design. Preferred candidates will be regionally available for client and team meetings as needed at the showroom located in Eagle, CO. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to assess their kitchen design needs and preferences. Create detailed layout designs using CAD. Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances that align with the client's vision. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of kitchen products. Manage outside sales efforts by networking with potential clients and following up on leads. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales effectively. Assist in the renovation process by coordinating with contractors and overseeing project timelines. Maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and account management. Upsell additional products or services that enhance the overall kitchen design experience. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and techniques in kitchen design. Requirements Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field such as interior design or remodeling. Proficiency in CAD software and SketchUp for creating detailed designs. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on high-end sales techniques. Knowledge of construction processes, renovation practices, and lighting design principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to layout design.
