The ideal candidate will assist in the design and execution of various interior design projects, collaborating closely with a senior designer to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive environment. We are both a design-build and interior design studio, and each designer on our team participates on a variety of residential project types. Duties Assist in developing design concepts and presentations for clients using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Create detailed drawings and specifications for interior spaces, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards. Collaborate with project managers to coordinate timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, present design ideas, and provide updates on project status. Research materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the overall design vision while considering budget constraints. Support the preparation of contracts and documentation related to project management. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques related to interior design, lighting design, renovation, and construction. Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Proficiency in 3D rendering software and Adobe Photoshop preferred. Strong understanding of construction documents, and remodeling. Familiarity with vendors and brands related to residential interior design and remodeling. Valid driver's license & transportation available to visit job sites on a daily basis. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for collaboration with clients and team members. A degree in Interior Design is required with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
