This client-facing role combines interior design, space planning, relationship building, and sales. You'll meet with homeowners, understand their needs and personal style, and create beautiful, functional custom storage solutions designed around the way they live. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for design, excellent people skills, sales confidence, and the ability to learn our specialized 3D design software. What You'll Do Conduct in-home design consultations and evaluate client needs, style, and goals. Measure spaces and create personalized designs for closets, pantries, mudrooms, offices, garages, and more. Create and present designs using our 3D design software. Guide clients through colors, finishes, hardware, accessories, lighting, and other design selections. Present proposals and confidently guide clients through the sales process. Manage client communication, appointments, follow-ups, and your sales pipeline. Build strong client relationships and provide an exceptional experience from consultation through sale. Stay current on trends in interior design, home organization, and functionality Sales Territory & Travel This is a field-based sales and design position requiring regular travel to clients' homes around the Chicagoland suburbs. A company vehicle is provided for client appointments. What We're Looking For Previous sales experience with a proven ability to build relationships and close opportunities. Strong interest or experience in interior design, home furnishings, space planning, home organization, or a related creative field. A natural eye for design, color, proportion, and functionality. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple clients and projects. Comfortable learning new technology and design software. Confident taking measurements and working independently in clients' homes. Creative, coachable, and solution-oriented.
