You will serve as the primary interior design resource for our projects, working closely with our project team and construction superintendent. Interior Design Develop finish and décor selections for residential and commercial projects Research and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, accessories, and other design elements Create finish palettes and design concepts that fit the project's budget and overall vision Assist with material, color, and product selections Coordinate design selections with project team Visit project sites as needed to review progress and selections Help maintain design documentation and project records Estimating & Purchasing Request and compare quotes from vendors and suppliers Obtain pricing and lead times for materials, furniture, fixtures, décor, and finishes Prepare and update quantity takeoffs Track purchase orders, deliveries, and outstanding items Help identify cost-effective alternatives when projects are over budget Project Coordination Assist with maintaining project budgets and budget spreadsheets Track design selections and associated costs Schedule client, vendor, and project meetings Keep project information organized and up to date Coordinate with the construction superintendent and engineering team to make sure design decisions work within the construction process Follow up with vendors and team members to keep projects moving Assist with project documentation and closeout What We're Looking For Bachelor's or associate degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field preferred Strong interest in both design and the construction/business side of projects Excellent organizational and time-management skills Comfortable working with spreadsheets, numbers, budgets, and pricing Strong attention to detail Good communication and follow-through Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs is a plus Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
