The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Business Operations, Organization, and an appreciation for Interior Design. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, and Operations. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with Lead Designer to support business administrative and client needs and preferences while ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. They will need a sufficient understanding of budgeting/creating proposals, office management, developing and managing processes and systems. This job allows for a Fluid Schedule if necessary. Qualifications A minimum of 3+ years experience in the field of Interior Design and/or experience as a Administrative Assistant. Good time-management skills. Coordinator will be tasked with managing multiple projects at a time and must manage their time accordingly.

Strong understanding of budgeting principles related to interior design projects or relatable fields. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple projects simultaneously. (Preferred) Proficiency in design presentation software including Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Canva, etc. Ability to help with transporting items through the procurement phase as needed. May require heavy lifting occasionally. (Preferred) Proficiency/Familiarity in design software including AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit, Bluebeam, and Rhinoceros 3D, etc. (Preferred) Associate's degree on greater in Business Administration or Interior Design or a related field. Duties Coordinate and manage the Client's initial inquiry phase. Coordinate and manage email templates for client communication. Preparing supporting documents such as Letter of Agreement, Statement of Work/Proposals, Quotes, Purchase Orders, Client Presentations,Project Schedules, Checklist, etc. Assist Lead Designer in research of specifications such as finishes, dimensions, availability, lead times, etc. Communicating with Contractors, Builders, Clients, etc. during the initial phase of the design process to answer questions or gather additional information about preferences or needs that support the project. Oversee product specifications and assist in the calculation of appropriate pricing for business profit with Lead Designer. Assist with coordination of photography and installations upon project finalization. Conducting research related to interior design trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for new products or services. Marketing Support (Social Media Templates, Coordinating Strategic Plan, Brand Administration). Support Team with coordinating meetings, managing calendars, handling correspondence, client communication, etc. Manage BGD Library Organization Process including all textiles and finishes. Assist with office maintenance and organization.
