Job Description

Join Our Team We are an established cabinetry and design firm, seeking a talented and motivated designer to join our growing team. Experience in kitchen, bath, or closet design is preferred, but we are open to candidates with a strong design background and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. This is an opportunity to work on distinctive custom homes and renovations while collaborating with a professional team dedicated to exceptional customer service, thoughtful design, and quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Meet with clients to understand their needs, lifestyle, and design goals. Design beautiful, functional kitchens, bathrooms, closets, and custom cabinetry. Develop floor plans, elevations, and detailed cabinet layouts. Prepare design presentations, material selections, and pricing. Guide clients through the design and selection process. Maintain clear communication with clients throughout each project. Coordinate with contractors, installers, and vendors to ensure projects are completed accurately. Visit job sites as needed to verify field conditions and answer design questions. Manage multiple projects while maintaining deadlines and providing outstanding customer service. Stay current with design trends, cabinetry products, and industry innovations. Work Environment Flexible schedule with hours based on project workload and mutual availability. Combination of showroom, job site, and remote work. Showroom presence is encouraged for scheduled client meetings and team collaboration but is NOT required on a daily basis. Opportunity to manage your schedule while working on high-end residential projects. Qualifications Experience in kitchen, bath, closet, or interior design preferred. Background in interior design, cabinetry, remodeling, architecture, or a related design field is a plus. Experience with design software such as 2020 Design, ProKitchen, Chief Architect, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs is preferred. Strong eye for design, space planning, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Preferred Experience Remodeling or residential construction experience. Knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and interior finishes. Experience working with builders, architects, interior designers, and homeowners.
