Our designers are trusted advisors who guide clients through every step of the design journey with professionalism, creativity, and exceptional service. What You'll Do Welcome and assist clients on the showroom floor, creating a warm and engaging first impression. Build meaningful relationships with clients by understanding their lifestyle, vision, and design goals. Conduct in-home consultations, take accurate measurements, and develop thoughtful floor plans. Present design concepts that incorporate furniture, lighting, window treatments, accessories, and décor. Guide clients through material, finish, color, and product selections. Manage projects from initial concept through design development, ordering, delivery, and final installation. Source furnishings and décor from a wide variety of quality wholesale vendors. Prepare proposals, presentations, purchase orders, and project documentation while ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Coordinate with clients, vendors, delivery teams, and fellow designers to ensure a seamless customer experience. Assist with showroom merchandising, displays, and floor moves to maintain an inspiring retail environment. Simultaneously manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail. Generate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and professional relationship building. Qualifications 3+ years of residential interior design experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field preferred. Previous retail sales experience, preferably within home furnishings or interior design. Experience selecting furniture, lighting, textiles, finishes, window treatments, and accessories. Strong understanding of space planning, scale, proportion, and design principles. Experience managing projects from concept through procurement and installation. Proficiency with room-planning or interior design software. Working knowledge of home furnishings and décor vendors. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with strong time management and project management abilities. Comfortable working in a commission-based sales environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Ability to work a retail schedule, including one weekend day each week. Compensation Base Salary:
annually, based on experience
Plus:
Uncapped commission with significant earning potential based on individual sales performance.
