Pay:
Interior Designers are responsible for drafting & managing 3D models, creating design presentations, and executing interior construction documents. This role works directly with our Director of Interior Design & Director of Interior Architecture on interior tasks. The typical day-to-day responsibilities for our Interior Designers include:- Sourcing, organizing & collaging physical material samples for clients and internal studio library.
- Sourcing & modeling appliances, plumbing fixtures, hardware & interior finish material selections.
- Modeling furnishings, specialty wall finishes, closets, millwork.
- Visualizing interior diagrams & vignettes.
- Creating presentations in InDesign.
- Creating 3D furniture models via Archicad.
- Developing furniture layouts within Archicad.
- Coordinating & oversee production of photorealistic renderings.
- Coordinating with Consultants & Vendors.
- Effectively working on multiple projects at once under direct supervision and collaboration with Interior Team.
- Integrating interior design & selections with architectural construction documents.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Valid Driver's License
- Working knowledge of residential construction
- Experience working in Archicad
- Strong previous relationships with vendors, trades and consultants
- Strong Eye for Photography
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of professional experience in a role as Interior Designer
- 2+ years of experience working in Archicad or Revit
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
- Ability to work from our Long Island City studio 3 days/wk (minimum)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the
US EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
- This is a full-time position with a healthy live/work balance (40 hrs/wk)
- Hybrid remote/in-person environment with 3 days/wk in-studio
- Typical working hours are 9:00am
- 6:00pm, Mon

- Starting Salary Range $67k
