TheBuilder Specialistis an established performer that works toincrease product sales within the assigned territory.

This role is responsible for developingnew business,working with very large national and regional home offices of builders and design centersas well asinternal sales, builder, and design teams to enhance and drive residential sales. Duties and Responsibilities of the Position Service very large existing builders,designcenters, and residential interior designers by making sales calls, developing business relationships, keeping them apprised of products, and merchandising programs. Prospect, secure, and register large new buildercustomersas well as develop business relationships with new design center managers and interior designers. Coordinate with ourMarketing team to communicatetrends and competitive productsthrough product andmerchandisingreviews with customers. Communicatecurrent information regarding registered builderproducts,merchandisingprograms, and builder agreement parametersto internal team. Lead regular builder trackingmeetings, participate in regional or national trade shows,and hold product knowledge seminars for builders and designers. Establish workingrelationshipswith all builder customersandpurchasingagents for those builders to ensure thatthere isa complete working knowledge of their business practices andprotocol. Develop an in-depth knowledge and expertise regarding all new single and multi-family construction in the region. Perform other duties as needed. Required Experience and Education Bachelors degree in a related fieldor equivalent education and/or experience. 2-4 years relevant experienceor equivalent education and/or experience. Competencies Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards. Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
