Job Description

Interior Designer and Project Manager Overview Join our scaling Design/Build Team as an Interior Designer/Project Manager, where creativity meets precision! In this energetic role, you will lead residential interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring each space reflects our clients' visions while adhering to building codes and budget parameters. Your expertise in drafting, 3D modeling, and construction documentation will drive custom client solutions and exceptional luxury project delivery. We're looking for a passionate professional eager to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively with clients and contractors, and bring inspiring interiors and exteriors to life with cutting-edge design tools. Duties Develop comprehensive interior design concepts for residential projects, including space planning, color schemes, lighting, and material selections using CAD software and 3D modeling tools. Manage all phases of project execution from initial client consultation through design development, construction documentation, and project closeout. Produce detailed construction documents and building information modeling (BIM) using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino 3D, and Bluebeam to ensure accurate implementation. Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences; communicate design ideas clearly through CAD presentations, renderings, and graphic design software. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials such as lighting fixtures and furnishings. Conduct building code analysis to guarantee compliance with local regulations; review renovation plans for structural integrity and safety standards. Lead client meetings to present designs, gather feedback, and manage revisions; maintain professional communication throughout the project lifecycle. Provide visually appealing presentations of selections for sales and pre-construction meetings (using Canva or other) Source product recommendations from all construction trades of varying price points, quality levels, etc Provide virtual product selection input, recording, and management Oversee and execute staging and coordination of photography and videography for digital project asset development Requirements Proven experience in interior design or architecture with a strong portfolio showcasing residential interior projects. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), 3D modeling (SketchUp, Rhino 3D), rendering tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite), and construction detail documentation. Proficient with BuilderTrend project management software Proficient with Trello or similar project manage software Exceptional use of AI design and office management tools a bonus Knowledge of building code compliance, remodeling processes, renovation techniques, and construction experience. Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual presentations. Familiarity with lighting sales, lighting design principles, and managing budgets for interior projects. Strong understanding of color theory, graphic design software applications, BIM tools, and drafting standards. Join us in transforming spaces into personalized works of art! $60,873.85 - $80,000.00 per year
