Schedule:

Full-time Immediate opening EOS Granite & Tile is seeking a motivated and organized Sales & Design Assistant to join our showroom and office team. This is an entry-level, career-track position for someone interested in developing skills in kitchen and bathroom design, countertop sales, customer service, estimating, and project management. Previous experience in the kitchen, bath, countertop, or construction industries is not required. We provide extensive paid training and are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and wants the opportunity to grow within the company. Initial Responsibilities The position will begin with front-office, showroom, and administrative responsibilities, including: Answering phones and responding to emails Greeting and assisting showroom customers Entering and maintaining customer information Collecting and recording payments Ordering materials and supplies Maintaining inventory Checking in tile and general material orders Supporting the sales and project-management team Keeping the showroom and office organized As training progresses, the employee will have the opportunity to learn: Countertop, tile, cabinetry, kitchen, and bathroom products Assisting customers with product selections Explaining material and product differences Preparing estimates and proposals Following up with customers regarding estimates and projects Reviewing plans, drawings, and measurements Coordinating material selections and orders Communicating with homeowners, contractors, installers, and vendors Tracking projects from the initial consultation through installation Scheduling appointments, templates, and installations Visiting job sites and assisting with field measurements Kitchen and bathroom design Managing individual customers and projects Earning sales commission Qualifications Applicants must have: Strong customer-service and communication skills Confidence speaking with customers in person and over the phone Professional written and email communication Basic computer skills Basic math and measurement skills Strong organization and attention to detail The ability to multitask in a busy office and showroom A willingness to ask questions and learn new systems A genuine interest in design, sales, construction, or project management A high school diploma or GED A valid driver's license and reliable transportation Dependable attendance and punctuality Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, customer service, retail, sales, hospitality, interior design, construction, or project coordination is helpful but not required. Schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. One to two rotating Saturdays per month, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Employees scheduled on Saturday receive a weekday off during that week Full-time applicants only Compensation and Benefits $15-$18 per hour, depending on experience Paid biweekly Paid training Commission opportunities as the employee advances into sales Regular performance reviews and opportunities for raises Paid holidays Paid time off Paid sick time Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Benefits begin after successful completion of a paid 90-day introductory and training period.
