About Us CO-OP was born in 2012, on the first of June, in a burned-out basement in Aberdeen and on a card table in Sioux Falls. We put our heads down and worked hard. Rapid City came along in 2016. And Iowa in 2025. Today we have 36 team members across four offices, plus one wiener dog. But he doesn't get health care. Or dental. And he could use dental. The name CO-OP is a tribute to the cooperation that underpins life in the heartland. Our firm does architecture, interior design and master planning across most sectors, save for single family homes and multi-family/developer stuff. We don't really do that. We prefer schools, offices, downtown mixed-use, restorations, civic/public work, and the like. We want to help define upper plains architecture. To celebrate our history and pragmatic roots but challenge the status quo. We want rural America to succeed. We believe that communities succeed with investments in their core and in their children. We want better architecture in our own backyard. Position Overview We're seeking a talented Interior Designer to join the team in our Rapid City, SD office. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of interior projects from start to finish, including material research, FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), space planning, Revit drafting, rendering, project management, and relevant graphic design and presentation tasks. Some Key Tasks:

Conduct material research and source innovative finishes and materials. Develop interiors projects from concept through completion. Create and manage FF&E selections, space plans, and finish schedules. Utilize Revit for drafting and documentation. Produce high-quality renderings and graphics for presentations. Attend and present at client meetings. Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. Occasionally travel to project sites across region (mileage reimbursed). Assist with general office administrative tasks, including library organization.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Proficiency in Revit. Experience managing projects. Ability to find innovative finishes and materials. Skills in creating finish schedules, plans, and presentation boards. Self-starter attitude with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Willingness (better yet, eagerness) to work as part of a team. A professional demeanor (present yourself well) with a friendly, approachable disposition (be nice). Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.• Be a great human. •CO-OP owns several vehicles, but occasionally you may need to drive your own vehicle. In those cases, you'll be reimbursed for mileage.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

2+ years of experience working in an architectural or interior design firm. Experience with 3D Rendering (Lumion, D5, or other tools). Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator.
