We provide a true one-stop-shop experience , offering in-home consultations, professional design, material selection, cabinetry, countertops, and project execution. Our Fairfax showroom operates as part of a well-established cooperative in the kitchen and bath industry, with 36 locations across 11 states and over 12 years of experience . This structure provides strong support, proven systems, and long-term stability, while allowing our showroom to maintain a local, team-focused environment. Designers are supported by our proprietary internal software portal , which includes training videos, standardized processes, project details, documentation, and tools designed to help manage projects efficiently and support long-term success. Position Overview The Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Consultant plays a dual role:

Designer:

creating thoughtful, buildable kitchen and bathroom designs tailored to each client

Consultant:

guiding clients through selections, pricing, and the full sales process Designers work both in the showroom and in clients' homes , managing projects from initial consultation through contract signing and design handoff. Benefits Competitive base salary + commission Performance-based bonuses Paid time off & paid holidays Employee discounts Paid training & structured onboarding Access to a proprietary internal software portal with training videos and project tools Strong lead flow from an established brand Growth opportunity within a stable, well-supported organization Responsibilities Meet with clients in the showroom and on-site to understand design goals, budgets, and timelines Design kitchens and bathrooms using 2020 Design (or similar software) Present layouts, elevations, and material selections clearly and confidently Guide clients through cabinetry, countertops, tile, fixtures, hardware, and finishes Prepare estimates, proposals, and contracts Manage multiple active projects while meeting sales and design targets Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and internal team members Maintain accurate documentation and follow up consistently to ensure an excellent customer experience Qualifications 2-3+ years of kitchen and/or bath design experience preferred, but not required — training will be provided Experience with 2020 Design preferred, but not required — training will be provided Prefer understanding of cabinetry, countertops, appliances, tile, and construction basics Sales-minded with the ability to close projects while maintaining trust and integrity Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team Interior design, architecture, or related education is a plus Why Join PI Kitchen & Bath?
