Desired Qualifications:
Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (EIPA, RID, or State credentials preferred) Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) Demonstrated experience in educational settings, preferably with K-12 students Strong communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in new, varied environments
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate clear, accurate communication for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Interpret classroom instruction, assemblies, meetings, and extracurricular activities Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Promote inclusion and accessibility across all school activities Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical guidelines
