Job Description

Supervised Visitation Provider Needed - Spanish Speaking Timon Supervised Visitation Services is looking for a reliable and professional Supervised Visitation Provider to join our team.
Service Areas:
Napa, Solano & Sonoma Counties We are specifically looking for someone who is available primarily afternoons and evenings during the week, with some weekend availability. Requirements - California Standard 5.20 Applicants must meet the requirements for a professional supervised visitation provider, including: Must be 21 years of age or older Must have no DUI conviction within the past 5 years Must not have been on probation or parole within the past 10 years Must have no conviction for child molestation, child abuse, or other crimes against a person Must have no civil, criminal, or juvenile restraining orders within the past 10 years Must have no current or past court order in which the provider was the person being supervised Must be able to speak the language of the parent being supervised and the child — Spanish is required for this position Must agree to remain neutral and follow/enforce the court order and applicable visitation rules Must complete a Live Scan criminal background check Must complete the required 24 hours of professional supervised visitation training before providing services Must complete and sign the required FL-324(P) Declaration of Supervised Visitation Provider Must understand and follow the professional provider's responsibilities regarding safety, confidentiality, documentation, mandated reporting, neutrality, and enforcement of visitation rules California Standard 5.20 requires professional providers to complete 24 hours of training before providing services, including required instruction in areas such as child abuse reporting, record keeping, screening and monitoring visits, child development, legal responsibilities, cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, substance abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and family law. Training If you are not currently certified/trained, you must be willing to complete the required certification/training in September. The applicant will be responsible for paying for their own required training/certification and Live Scan/background check. We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Professional and responsible Comfortable working with children and families Able to maintain strict neutrality Comfortable writing detailed visit reports Able to follow court orders and provider policies Available for afternoon/evening visits during the week Available for some weekend visits Fluent in Spanish Experience in supervised visitation, childcare, social services, family services, or a related field is a plus.
