This full-time opportunity offers two openings: one serving elementary students and another working with high schoolers, both based within DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) programs. With 35 hours per week, youll play a key role in fostering communication and inclusion for learners from diverse backgrounds.

What Were Looking For:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with formal interpreter training Experience interpreting within educational environments preferred Ability to adapt communication style to elementary or high school settings Current certifications for sign language interpreting, if applicable Strong commitment to supporting DHH students academic and social growth Flexibility, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit

What Youll Be Doing:

Providing real-time interpretation for classes, meetings, and school activities Facilitating clear communication between students, staff, and peers Supporting DHH students across academic, extracurricular, and social experiences Collaborating with educators and program specialists on student needs Adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards within the educational context Adapting interpreting approaches to fit a variety of classroom dynamics Ensuring equal access to instruction and participation for all students These roles offer immediate start dates and the chance to make a meaningful difference right away.
