Current, valid GA DOE Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Licensemust be in hand and ready for presentation Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreting in educational settings Adaptability to work both 1:1 and in flexible, floating assignments Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills Previous experience in a school or with children preferred

Responsibilities:

Interpret spoken language into sign language (and vice versa) to support effective communication for a 1:1 student assignment Provide services onsite at designated locations, including both scheduled and floating roles Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration to ensure students needs are met across academic and extracurricular activities Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed In this contract position, youll work closely with diverse students and educational professionals.
