School Year Work Hours:

10:30 AM12:30 PM, MondayFriday (onsite) We are seeking an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to provide in-person interpreting services for a high school student in Calhoun, Georgia. The interpreter will support a student participating in a CTAE Culinary Arts course during the second semester.

Qualifications:

Qualified ASL Interpreter credentials appropriate for Georgia school settings Experience providing ASL interpreting services in an educational setting preferred Experience working with high school students preferred Strong communication and professional collaboration skills Ability to provide clear and accurate interpretation in a classroom setting

Responsibilities:

Provide in-person ASL interpretation during the student's Culinary Arts course Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school-related communication Support effective communication between the student, teachers, and peers Maintain professional standards and confidentiality Collaborate with school staff to support the student's educational access
