This onsite role offers full-time hours (minimum 37.5 hours per week) with the possibility of part-time arrangements depending on availability and district needs. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through May 21st, 2027, with some flexibility for pre- and post-planning days.

Key Qualifications:

Active Georgia Educator Certification for Sign Language Interpreters and an EIPA score of 3.5 or above. Candidates who are SLI paraprofessionals with closely qualifying EIPA scores and a commitment to retake the exam for full certification are also encouraged (potential for advancement to a full SLI role during the assignment). Proficiency in American Sign Language and strong skills in facilitating communication between students, staff, and families. Readiness to complete daily logs to document provided services. Willingness to discuss preferred age groups and experience during interviews to ensure optimal placement.

Responsibilities:

Deliver interpreting services within a school environment, adapting to the needs of assigned students and educational staff. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of daily activities.
